Great, right? Yeah, I know.
Also, being the giant dork that I am, this looks to be hot to death. And is it just me, or does one of them sound like Dean Venture?
Edit: Well, that's because "Dean Venture" voices Leonardo in the new series.
Still waiting on the job thing, but that will take a while longer. Stupid bureaucracy.
The web group at work just got a new office last week, and it's pretty cool. We're still trying to come up with a name for it, and we've got 4 so far. They are: The Nerd Enclosure, Cell Block A, The Showers (referring to the sliding doors with the frosted glass in them) and the Batcave (my personal favorite). Fun.
Alsmo, more movie reviews on the KUHF website. Whoo!
And that's really it. Maybe I'll post more later.

Is there any truth to the rumor of a party at your place on the 29th?
I dunno. There could be. I had thrown the idea out there as a place to watch the Liberty Bowl when we met up for Krueger's birthday, and I hadn't really thought much more about it. Figured we could get some people together, buy some beer, order some pizzas. Nothing serious.
I love beer, and have nothing better to do, lemme know if you want company
Yeah, feel free. David will be here, as will Krueger & Kelly and Meredith. Hartschuh was going to try to come, but he won't get off of work in time to make it. Call if you need directions or the gate code.
look, you don't know me. this isn't some sort of crazy prank a friend would pull. not mine, anyway.
so, at about 2:14pm PST on 12/30/06, i was bored at work here in sacramento, ca, while listening to one of the nge(vangelion) ost's. after spending most of the morning bouncing around wikipedia, what do i do? i set out on a googling tangent for "burrito buddy," since this simple phrase has long been a good story with a few of my close friends.
you see, one beautiful, lovely day, during a sunny trip back from la cumbre taqueria in san mateo, ca, the t-tops of my firebird down, my sunglasses on and the radio cranked up loud on the freeway, while on a lunch break from my then lavish job at toys 'r us, i just looked over at my burrito buddy in the passenger seat and smiled.
after relating this story to a friend of mine, he basically memorized it and brings it up occasionally, always telling me about the exquisite detail i took in personifying my burritoish pal.
so, after wading through endless myspace portals to lame ass people calling their friends "burrito buddies," a breath of fresh air slapped me across the face in just that way i like women to - but this breath of fresh air was in the form of a sketch of a burrito buddy... drawn by you! finally, a person who understands the proverbial burrito buddy for what he really is: not a person who eats burritos with you, those are your friends! he is the embodiment of pure culinary exellence. with arms, legs, and a little sombrero as well.
i'm talking about the tasty goodness that cannot be imparted to you simply by a source of protein and carbohydrates, no... your burrito buddy has always been there, in spirit, waiting to spend some quality time with you. to love you. to make you feel whole. much like your friends, he wants you to be happy. and what could possibly make you happier than eating a tasty, mouth-watering burrito?
so, for the record, ten pages of googling and you were the only non-sucker i came across. bravo. i hope you don't mind, i've printed our your sketch and plan to take it to show my friend mario, perhaps others, he's definitely one that i know understands our shared burrito-related feelings. perhaps photoshop and a trip to kinkos will come into the picture if i get adventurous. i just wonder how pixelated your artistic creation would look at six feet tall...
in closing, i hope i haven't totally freaked you out. if you check this by tomorrow, at least you'll have an interesting story to tell your friends while you're getting drunk/high/whatever on new years tomorrow.

A little odd, but hey, it's always nice to hear stories from new people, especially ones involving some little sketch I did while having a funny conversation with some friends. I'm glad you liked it, and I thank you for your story. And if you'll excuse me, all this talk of burritos is making me hungry.
Everyone should go down on a burrito.
